I've never seen otter before until yesterday at western plains zoo in Dubbo NSW, about 4 and a half hours from Sydney, these pair never leave each other, they swam together, etc we observed them for half an hour and not a single minute that they got separated. they look like two big rats to me lol!! but they live in the water and they are very lovely, they are also a bit of a show off too, they showed us all their tricks which was fun to watch, we enjoyed watching them.

Very cute! They are perfect watery models.
Cuties! Lovely photos. I have never seen otters. They look a bit like seals.
yes they look like seal only they are small and with a bit of fur and whiskers
i think they're extra cutie. love the photos.
Ohhhh, how cute are they!? I tried to get some at the zoo but they weren't this cooperative.
:-)
Great shots, the otters are so cute. they have adorable faces.
such wonderful and playful photos!
Otters are such delightful, playful creatures. How people can say that animals have no feelings is beyond me. So many pair for life end never see a divorce lawyer. Even herd animals like sheep who obviously cannot have a monogamous relationship, grieve over a still born lamb for weeks. Well, English Leicesters do anyway. Merinos tend to put on some more lippie, fluff up their hair and go party.
We too could use rain...lots of rain. Our winter creek has not run for seven years!
Those are lovely Lindz.
